Thoughts of your face at the sea

I looked
in the oceans of this world
and my life is so very blue
without you
water coming in waves every so often
azure running through
my fingers stacked with rings
their diamonds long rotten
I can't seem to catch a wave without drowning
so now there's just salt sprinkled on my skin
on all the places you have never been
to make the wounds burn
in case I'd forget
they're still wide open
but you'll never turn
around to look for me
through your golden pearls of sunlight
so I was surprised to stumble upon
you
on my tongue
and in my eyes
but mostly in my art
fountains I watch closely
leafs I think resemble you
the tears I cry over stolen youth
your deepsea
and the smile that broke my heart
