Thoughts of your face at the sea

I looked

in the oceans of this world

and my life is so very blue

without you

water coming in waves every so often

azure running through

my fingers stacked with rings

their diamonds long rotten

I can't seem to catch a wave without drowning

so now there's just salt sprinkled on my skin

on all the places you have never been

to make the wounds burn

in case I'd forget

they're still wide open

but you'll never turn

around to look for me

through your golden pearls of sunlight

so I was surprised to stumble upon

you

on my tongue

and in my eyes

but mostly in my art

fountains I watch closely

leafs I think resemble you

the tears I cry over stolen youth

your deepsea

and the smile that broke my heart
